A native of Waterbury, Connecticut, Cathryn brings more than 45 years of banking and regulatory experience, retiring as a Supervisory National Bank Examiner after 25 years with the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). As a Compliance Examiner-in-Charge within Large Bank Supervision in New York, she oversaw compliance and risk management for some of the nation's largest financial institutions. In 2004, she was selected to serve on a four-person OCC team in Baghdad, Iraq, spending 11 months assisting the Central Bank of Iraq in modernizing its banking system and supervisory framework. Before joining the OCC, Cathryn spent more than 20 years as an Operations and Compliance Officer at community and regional banks in Connecticut and Alabama.

Beyond her professional career, Cathryn is a graduate of the Episcopal Church's Education for Ministry (EfM) program and has mentored two EfM groups through the four-year curriculum. She holds an A.B. degree from the College of Saint Elizabeth and a B.A. in History from Albertus Magnus College. She is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association Graduate School of Compliance and received her commission as a National Bank Examiner in 2000.

Cathryn brings the same spirit of stewardship, organization, and service that defined her professional career to her role as Junior Warden at St. Michael's Episcopal Church. She enjoys working collaboratively to care for the parish's facilities and support its ministries. Outside of church, she has completed 11 marathons, numerous half-marathons and 15K road races, experiences that reflect her perseverance, dedication, and commitment to seeing projects through. Lastly, she is a lifelong fan of college football and college basketball.
